Quarterly Roundup: Our Proud Moments at Milies

Quarterly Roundup: Our Proud Moments at Milies

Last quarter was a blast of events and new stories for us at Milies! Our team dedicated heart and soul to our work, and we're excited to share the results with you.

Since Milies began operating as a software development company, we have made it a tradition to get together with the whole team once every quarter and celebrate the achievements we’ve had so far, as well as discuss the mistakes we’ve made, learn from them, and make conclusions for the future events.

This time, our team has 3 major events to celebrate, which we’re happy to share with you as a little motivation and appreciation.

  1. Successful business trip to Germany and the Netherlands

May saw us jetting off to Germany and the Netherlands on a mission: strengthen our partnerships and immerse ourselves in the vibrant tech scenes. We met our partners face to face and strengthened our bonds through on-site meetings, as well as some live coding in their physical offices.

We’ve met two of our clients during this trip, Rocket Systems in Hamburg and DataMask in Amsterdam. We also met some of our old and good friends and connections in these cities.

Besides, meeting our clients, we couldn’t miss the chance of networking and building new connections in the ever-evolving tech ecosystem of Germany and the Netherlands. So, during a few days, we managed to organize 14 meetings across 3 cities.

As enthusiasts of startups and new network opportunities, we couldn’t miss the chance to take part in the North Star x GITEX GLOBAL event in Amsterdam , grabbing the opportunity to hear new startup pitches, generate new ideas, and network with like-minded tech people.

We can’t wait to reveal more details about our next trip in the fall. Stay tuned for the details!

  1. Our new product reaches 70.000 users in 4 months

The joint project between Milies and SkinRave, aimed for gamers, has reached its first exceptional milestone. An MVP with 25,000 sign-ups and 2,000 daily active users in less than three months? Mind-boggling. But the real magic happened next.

The co-ownership of the product means we invest more effort and knowledge into the project. However, maintaining a real-time gaming platform is a rollercoaster, presenting true challenges, such as:

    • Managing the number of activities users per second,
    • Support of minimum latency for requests,
    • And providing live updates.

It’s been a wild ride with plenty of late nights and problem-solving heroics. The key is how quickly and responsibly we address and solve these issues.

Edik Baghdasaryan, the CTO at Milies shared, “Not gonna lie we crashed on one of the release days when we got 600 online, so we had to do some quick fixes. I didn't expect 866 online tho, but we managed it and now the product is pumping.

One thing I love about SkinRave.gg is the energy, the product, the team, and the users who never sleep".

Having our focus on the product, the customer, and the problems we may have, we have already celebrated a new milestone in our product:

    • We have 70.000 users so far (with the number increasing daily)
    • The number of daily active users is 3.600
    • We’re among the top 100.000 websites globally
    • 50+ influencers sponsor our product

We're proud of our talented team and their dedication to the project. They are the ones able to solve challenges and make things (aka magic) happen.
